Our fans and followers on Facebook and Twitter, staff and guests alike have all been excited and awaiting the unveiling our new dinner menu. Even our seasonal Seagull showed up for yesterday’s photo shoot for the menu.
The Bay House Restaurant at Trade Winds Hotel is fondly known as the island’s best kept secret. We have received many compliments that share the sentiments that dining with us is an amazing culinary journey. At the Bay House Restaurant we know how important it is to eat well. We always ensure that our dishes are of high quality by continuously expanding our menu so that our guests will always find something new and surprising when they dine with us. Chef Hodge has indeed done just that with our new dinner menu; he has revived some of your favourites with unexpected twists and added new dishes. The variety of our dishes range from eclectic, modern to home-style; incorporating international with local foods such as mangoes, dasheen, green fig and Antigua’s Premier English Harbour 5yr Old Rum make a special appearance in the lobster jerk sauce. All very delicious and made with the best and freshest products available locally.
Welcome to the “UNVEIL”
Let’s begin your culinary journey with the: “Lemon and lime garlic shrimp with a hint of spice herb toast.”
Continue with the: “Grilled sword fish with roasted dasheen, wilted rocket, plantain salsa and a ginger coconut sauce.”
If you prefer meat, we suggest the: “Individual Sheppard’s pie of diced pieces of lamb slowly braised in its own juice, then finished with a potato topping and served with garlic bread and a house salad.”
Chef has also introduced to the menu a home-style Surf and Turf Pasta, a delicious fettuccine of stripped beef and shrimp with your choice of creamy or tomato sauce.
Accompany your dishes with a good wine as there is no shortage of options on our menu and have a flourishing finish with one of our decadent desserts.
